Composition is about layers and leading lines. These textured rock formations in the foreground pull your eye into the frame, leading you across the silky water toward those silhouetted mountains, up to the dramatic sky where golden light breaks through. Long exposure smoothed the water, emphasizing the solid rocks and distant peaks. Every element has a purpose—foreground to draw you in, mid-ground to guide your eye, background mountains for scale, and that sky providing the drama.
